Primocin^®-为原代细胞培养量身定做的抗微生物剂

原代细胞培养中存在多种常见的微生物污染来源，尤其是在从动物和人体组织中分离原代细胞时，极易被所分离的宿主与环境中的微生物污染，包括共生菌群及亚临床感染。

Invivogen公司开发的Primocin^®是一种专为保护原代细胞免受微生物污染而设计的抗生素配方。Primocin^®是一种广谱抗生素，对微生物具有致命作用，可以有效预防细菌，支原体和真菌的污染，但同时对细胞却是温和的。

Primocin™含有四种化合物，其中三种可阻止革兰氏阳性细菌、革兰氏阴性细菌和支原体的DNA和蛋白质合成。第四种化合物可通过破坏细胞膜的离子交换来根除真菌，包括酵母。
